Wythenshawe Games is back for 2019!
Now in it’s eighth year, Wythenshawe Games, Greater Manchester’s biggest community sport and physical activity festival will be taking place from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th July.
This must-attend event literally has something for everyone, and people of all ages are invited to join in and have a go at a range of different activities.
Along with family fun days on Wednesday 24th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July, our fabulous Sport For All day will return on Thursday 25th July. This day invites disabled and non-disabled people to have a go at a whole array of sports together. The programme includes some Paralympic sports such as boccia, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball.
Friday 26th July is Wythenshawe Games’ This Girl Can day, promising something for girls and women of all ages. There will be an opportunity to win prizes for those who take part in activities, so if you come along, make sure you collect your activity card and get it stamped throughout the day. Boys and men are welcome too of course!
We’ll add the full schedule here nearer the time of the event. In the meantime, follow us on social media for updates on that great sports and activities you can expect at the Games!
